How the morning email is built

We sort public bids. You still read the official listing and submit there.

The steps

  1. Every morning we pull public bids from SAM.gov and from the city, county, and state open-data feeds we cover.
  2. We keep the trades listed on the Trades page. A trade marked coming soon is not in the email yet.
  3. We drop expired bids and duplicates.
  4. We email the bids that match the trades and area on your signup. The email goes out at 6:30 AM ET on weekdays.
  5. Each linked title goes to the official bid page, or to the aggregator page recorded for that row. You confirm dates, addenda, and requirements there, then submit. We do not submit the bid for you.

Trades and places

Browse trades and pick a state. A state page includes federal SAM.gov bids performed there. Local sources we carry are the NYC City Record, Los Angeles, Delaware, and Montgomery County, Maryland. The New York, Pennsylvania, and Texas state portals are not covered. The Friday, October 23, 2026 sample file has no Los Angeles, Delaware, or Montgomery County row.

What the Friday, October 23, 2026 sample was built from

These are the sources on the rows we show from that file. They are not a promise that every portal in the country is pulled.

  • SAM.gov
  • NYC City Record (NYC Open Data)
  • Township of Maple Shade website
  • City of Ocean City website
  • PA eMarketplace
  • Bidscope, an aggregator page used for two rows in that file
  • RFPDelivery, an aggregator page used for one row in that file
  • New York State Contract Reporter, named only, with no link

What we leave out

  • OpenGov listings. One Frederick County custodial notice is in the October 23 file and is left off the sample page for this reason.
  • Bonfire listings. None are in that file.
  • Links to the NYS Contract Reporter.
  • The New York, Pennsylvania, and Texas state portals are not covered yet. Federal SAM.gov notices in those states can still be included.
